Hey, guys; you may have heard by now that Mike's tablet was stolen during the summer festival and I wanted to start a donation pool for it. I would greatly appreciate if you guys could contribute a little to replacing it.

To whoever took Mike's tablet:

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you we don't too much money. But what I do have in abundance are a very particular set of skills; skills we have acquired over a very long academic career. Skills that make us a nightmare for people like you. If you return Mike's ASUS Transformer now, that'll be the end of it. We will not look for you, we will not pursue you. But if you don't, we will look for you, we will find you, and we will strap you to a chair, tape your eyes open and make you watch all 26 episodes of Lucky Star non-stop.

Sure. Having something stolen really sucks, and a tablet isn't something cheap.

Has anyone checked a lost and found yet? Or campus security?
