"Me and the amigos had a bet about it, and it looks like I won!" He grins broadly, but settles down when he sees the weird looks people are giving him. "Uh, anyway..."

You take samples of every bit of the creature creature that you can get your hands on, though all you have found out so far is that the creature is quadrupedal, has a (relatively) soft underbelly, and that this specific specimen is male. To find out anything else will take more time.

Bones is feeling mighty proud of himself. security was his aim after all. but a nicely toasted chunk of dino-meat was just aching for the chicken test. he took a bite. It -doesn't- taste like chicken! somewhere between beef and bacon, in fact. "Bork." "That'll be its name."

looking to the task at hand, however, he knew the daunting task of making the colony self-sufficient would take a while. but with time and luck, it would be done.
"Alright gents, time to start making that last tower. then we start setting fish-nets. After that, we start clearing the area to make a dam. I want hydro power if we're able."

The next day, following an exhaustive night of researching the predator, Greenberg gathered his assistants together, along with Lorenzo.

"We're going back to working on the lab today," said Greenberg, gesturing towards the dig site. "The best thing to do is to fab some concrete mix and start creating a foundation for the basement, maybe some concrete walls if we have the time. Now, I'm no good at this sort of thing, so I asked Dunham if he could lend a few of his helpers, seeing as they're used to this sort of thing. He said if he can spare them, they'll help out, so we shouldn't be too dependent upon the idea that they'll pitch in. So," he said, cracking his knuckles, "it'll be up to us to work on this, for the most part. Shirozuka, you'll be taking a break from building, and I'll have you analyze the predator further. As for -

"Sir?"

Greenberg turned at the sound of the voice. "Yes, Miss Rice?"

Rice twisted her hands in front of her. "Well, Paul, I was, maybe wondering, if I could research the dino... I mean, predator, instead of Shirozuka."

Greenberg's eyebrows shot up. "May I ask why?"

Rice scratched at the back of her head. "Thing is... I've been a fan of dinosaurs ever since I was a little girl. Read all the books and everything. I even considered becoming a paleontologist, but my grades weren't good enough for university." She met Greenberg's eyes with a sheepish smile. "So, I'd really like to give this a shot. It'd be... the coolest thing ever, really."

Greenberg couldn't help but smile at this. "So long as Mr. Shirozuka doesn't object. How do you feel about this?"

Shirozuka shrugged in deference to Greenberg. "Doesn't matter, so long as I'm doing something of use," he said.

Greenberg clapped his hands together, wringing them in anticipation. "Alright, then it's settled. I'll fab some concrete, and once we get back, we'll start creating what will be the basement of the lab. Mr. Lorenzo, if you'd like to be of use again today, we can use another set of hands with the construction. Miss Rice, you'll research the predator further. If that's settled, then let's get to it!"
