Majored in genetics and xenobiology, worked around the world to analyse and preserve rare species. Received worldwide recognition when, in an effort to preserve the dwindling panda and tiger populations, he successfully crossbred the two species, resulting in a Tipandager. He received the Nobel Prize for his efforts, and was asked to join the Colony of Planet AU794 as the lead Xenobiologist. He accepted the generous offer, and is greatly looking forward to an opportunity to analyze entirely new lifeforms never before seen by man.

Age: 34
Registered Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Dentist, Plumber, and Surgeon.
Criminal Record: Three counts of assault, two counts of fraud, and five counts of possession of illegal substances.
Dr. MacFinn is currently being transferred to a new posting following the recent run-ins with the police force.

I like how so far there are at least 2 criminals and Nobel Prize winner in the same group. I'm thinking someone miss-filed Professor Greenberg's assignment papers.

Professor James Gooden, PhD

Age: 30
Graduated high school at age 13, he was considered to be the most promising prodigy of his generation. Getting a PhD in applied physics, by the ripe age of 21, he was the leading scientist in making the Hadron bomb which is 9000 times more powerful than a Hydrogen bomb. Expecting to win the Nobel prize, his dream and his ego was crushed by Professor Paul Greenburg who beat him by preserving stupid pandas and tigers. From that time forth, the mental condition of James Gooden has been brought to light, with his quick anger and constant self-mutterings. No one knows why he suddenly decided last minute to join in the colonization effort for Planet AU794.

Lieutenant-Colonel Kurt Palmer

Age: 34

Pilot of the spacecraft that brought the colonists here. These days spacecraft pilots basically serve as an emergency substitute for the navigation computer, but Palmer couldn't resist the unique opportunity to tag along with the myriad scientists, convicts and civilians of the project.
