Anyone want to make costume armor for a heavy metal video?

Hey I have a buddy who's making props and costumes for a heavy metal video. If you want to help out or learn some skills, then send him a message at dshaw1984(at)hotmail(dot)com. This is a message he posted:

Hey, all. I woke up the other morning as art director for a high-fantasy, heavy metal video being shot in a month.
I have to complete one major costume and assemble a few secondary ones, though most of the components for the secondaries should already be made.
If there's time, we might be building a miniature to use as back drop for a scene.

Primarily, what I need is people to help with the chain armor which will consist of cutting rings and weaving the mail. (We're using plastic rings). Also assembling the metal armour after I shape the components. Those are very straight forward jobs that require little to no particular skill.
There will also be sewing, some leather work and if you have any knowledge of constructing or assembling plate armour, it will just make the costumes that much better.
It's not a paid job. But it is fairly high profile and you will be credited. My hope is that, if I can assemble a team and we all work well together, this could lead to paid jobs in the future. Otherwise it's a damned nice piece to have on your resume.
Another incentive is that I can teach you what I know about medieval costuming. Even teach you about making plate armour. Either while we construct this costume, or after, if I need you doing something else.
