I did that last time. Although, maybe without Chapman trying to make variables for ALL THE THINGS, it won't take six hours to everything done.

This is actually another benefit of percentile systems. You decide how likely something is to happen, like a weapon jam and just assign it to rolls starting from 100 going down if it's a bad thing or 1 going up if it's good.
The one thing you should remember is situational modifiers and task difficulty. All base values accommodate average difficulty, so if it's something is easy/hard give it a bonus/penalty.
