So you get money off of it, duh. Get into town, get on stage, be a medieval idol on stage. Use the profession check to gain massive amounts of money, and when the people start getting on stage to hug you, escape artist/fly away.

At that point, your summoned shadow should be your manager.

While I like the idea it still does not justify taking profession. On a roll of 20 I would be able to earn 16 gold. And that's for one week. But I will consider freeing up some skill points to take Perform.

Yes, perform is actually much better. I mean, you also get reputation off of it, which is a boon.

Oh god, yes! A bit overpowered though. Change enemies to all creatures, make DC 10+1/2 lvl+Cha and switch effect to Dazzled or Fascinated. Maybe Dazzled on a successful Will save to represent averting eyes.

Though, cannonballs are probably touch AC. And damage will be less like "Lose half your health" as it is "roll the Dark Heresy crit chart with a +75 modifier)
