August 3rd General Meeting Minutes

Meeting Begins: 5:34 PM

Karaoke Night: August 6th (THIS Saturday)

Sleepover Party
-Starts (officially) at 6:30 PM on the 21st of August (Sunday)
-Javier will bring his PS3
-Bringing in other stuff is encouraged, anything to kill time/entertain, like laptops. We’ll have a few TVs for people to hook up consoles to, as usual.
-Games, snacks and drinks are a priority.
-Possibly bringing a large container of water. (can’t remember who)
-We’ll have an electric kettle if anyone wants to bring food that needs that.
-Mike is bringing a toaster oven for baking cookies. Joey is bringing the cookie dough for that. Lisa has some disposable pan things.
-Fruit would be good to bring
-We could have nachos with the toaster oven if anyone wants to bring that stuff
-Jeremy might be able to bring a Hibachi.
-Bring board games!
-Werewolves will happen.
-Possibly a NWN The Light Reborn session at the sleepover?

Javier has been appointed Screenings Director for the Fall semester.

Next Semester’s Events
-Fall Icebreaker
-Instead of the usual presentations, we will be having tables instead.
-Raffle Prizes:
Watermelon Smash!
Nerfguns!
Maybe gift cards?
Gift Basket
-Mike to check if we can use Jovi’s Rock Band again
-TVs set up with DVDs and consoletoys
-Next semester we’ll be having another 24 Hour Gaming Marathon for Child’s Play. We’ll have a meeting for this in September to bang out all the details.
-Jeremy wants to run a writing workshop sometime.
-Month-long nerf assassin game
-Promote at Icebreaker
-Check with SFSS (shouldn’t be a problem.)
-Bowling Night

Gaming
-We’ll try to get a room booked for Tuesday nights for gaming.
-We should have a game going for new players in the fall.
-Character building workshop
