I am currently planning on running a campaign for the Fall semester.
Disclaimer: It will be my first campaign, so try not to expect too much from it.

INFORMATION:
System: D20Modern Core.
Setting: Early 1990's
Campaign Setting: Private Military Company
"  After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989, the subsequent economic failure in the Us, and the ensuing spike in oil prices, a unprecedented amount of people lost their employment, and began seeking other, more desperate means of income. The players are unemployed people from all walks of life; accountants, doctors, soldiers, even criminals, seeking employment and financial security amidst the post Cold War world.
Contacted by a 'security company' called DynaSec, the players are offered lucrative terms of employment. Cash payments, medical care, advancement opportunities, and even legal securities are available upon entering the contract. The ones who responded to the offer (the players) are given plane tickets to a 'recruitment interview' in San Francisco."

Player number: 3-6
Skill level recommended: Any
Seriousness: Semi serious.
Roleplaying: moderate
Retards welcome. (Yes, that's you, Cameron.)
Tentative schedule: Fridays.

!!!!IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ HERE. !!!!
EDIT:

CURRENT SCHEDULE (TENTATIVE):
-FRIDAY 4:00PM TO 8:00PM.
-LOCATION: ROTUNDA UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Things that I must apologize for.
The game will start at the recuitment interview, minor railroading will occur in the beginning.
This will be my first DMing attempt, so play nice.
Players will be expected to at least read the D20Modern player's handbook a little. Bring your own dice and sheets.

Post if interested or have questions.

EDIT:
-I plan to use the standard point-buy for stats.
-Players will start at level 3
-Will not do exp points, instead will level by plot progression. (In other words, level whenever I bloody well feel like it.)

Current prospective players:
-Ilyia
-Cameron
-Ben
-JEREMY
-Paul
-new guy

-We will be using the Gamma World system of allegiances. It's good, I think. Until one of you breaks it, and milk insane bonuses from convoluted situations. (First one to murder the buxom elf DMPC with rule abuse gets rocks dropped on him.) Wink

-Anything not in the rules, I will try to figure out something by houserule. (Core does not cover flying jetliners into tall buildings and the ensuing Will Save. )

-Players are encouraged to use Myth Weavers for sheets, it takes care of the bookkeeping, and allows the sheets to be shared on the internet.

LATEST NEWS: ALL PLAYERS SHOULD LEVEL TO LEVEL 6. THREAD TITLE CHANGED DUE TO INGAME DECISIONS.

Fuuu. Anyone know where I could get some dice?

Also, Jesse, will we be subject to your innate personality as an influence to the general tone and feel of the campaign?

Any nerdy shop. The best ones are the ones that you get from modeling shops and card shops, cause they are designed to play board games.

Across from Metrotown, Brentwood, Lougheed, Richmond, main street, there's a few in Surrey I've never been to. Do your research.

Also read the rules, or it'll be really boring. I know as a fact now that you'll be playing badly, like I am, but just read the damn rules and get a gist of how the game works first, k?

Also, the only type of bard in the future are rocker sex gods or boy bands, take your pick. You don't get to be a sex god.

-3 minutes. He tries to make a tentacle monster, fails, whines, disturbs others, then just leaves.

Member of Ukrainian Mafia in New York. Got into a gunfight with Triads in his leisure time in a pub. Dropped four of them before escaping. One of the four was some important dude in Triad. Was forced to go into hiding and as a result was quite happy when he was offered to go to the opposite coast for a job interview.
