I question the wisdom of bloating club bureaucracy with keeping two separate positions with similar and symbiotic responsibilities independent from each other when one director could probably do both.

I could try for Comm Officer, I have some experience adminning forums and I don't mind paperwork, though if anyone better suited for the job comes up, I'll concede.

Trolling implies a reaction. From what I see, people pretty much ignore you.

Anyway, I'd like to step up and take a more active role in the club, though I'm coming up on my 4th year and I doubt I'll be able to do much. Nevertheless, if there's a director/executive position that needs to be filled and doesn't involve talking to the SFSS (Who would push me around, I guarantee you) then please let me know.

Cameron you can chill out a bit - I didn't seriously nominate you. If anything I was just prompting people to run for positions specifically to keep you from winding up as an exec. If you really want you can form your own SFSS troll club that operates outside of the ARC's jurisdiction and sanctioning. You can be the president, king, or even grand dragon fuhrer of that club and assign positions to sub trolls that answer to you. You'll be free to act within the SFSS guidelines and canadian law and all you need is like ten signatures. You can recruit ARC members if you want or have sign-ups during clubs' days (which are coming up soon.)  

Also Mike for prez, Sam and Paul for other exec positions. I'd offer to handle the SFSS because I have experience with them, but I think SFSS rules say I can't be a signing authority since I'm a grad student, nor should I be taking on any non-academic responsibilities.
