Hello everybody.

I'm Marcus.  I am in my *cough* fourth/fifth year *cough* at SFU.  I am pursuing a Biological Sciences degree. I joined the club since I knew MikeL and a few others, and decided to it would be neat to try out.

I used to be more into anime and manga a number of years ago, but I have taken a hiatus since the middle of high school, only occasionally watching a show here or reading a series there.  I hope to attend the weekly screenings to see if my interest is reinvigorated.

One thing that hasn't really gone away is video games. I still remember fiddling around with DOS games back in the day. I'm both a PC and console gamer, but since I haven't had the money to sink in a decent desktop, I've been mostly relegating myself to consoles nowadays with some exceptions (Starcraft 1/2, various indie games, possibly LoL, HoN, maybe even MINECRAFT, though it is kind of funny that I haven't really had shooters on PC since HL2/CS:S).  Currently got 360 (probably on its last legs), PS3 and Wii. Stuff I got going on consoles is mostly FPSs, RPGs, some sports games, platformers, and various other games.

Anyways, hope to get to know you all better as the semester goes along.
